Upinzani
"i won't let anything stand in the way of upinzani's survival."
Personality
Relentless. Severe. Harsh.
The lions of Upinzani are anything but nice. They have hard exteriors, and an even meaner interior. Upinzani, oppose to their new rivals, are extremely devoted and intelligent lions. Or so they like to think. For the most part, Upinzani members are silent and cold, and are certainly "brawn over brains mentality" creatures. Their answer to most problems are to, well, destroy the opposition.
History [wip]
Upinzani's origins lie mostly within the hearts of those most loyal to the pride, or to the royal family. It isn't known by many, but those who do know take much pride in their heritage. It was initially started by a small group of rogues, and were extremely quick to grow. Hadithi ya Kale used to be a very popular place for bachelor lions to travel, since there used to be a very big and successful pride before Nyumbani moved in, who went by the name of Kifalme. They were a prideful group of lions, who took their name and responsibilities seriously. It was usual for Upinzani to ambush border and hunting patrols, and when they could, they would steal from them. They mostly took things like prey and medical herbs; things that were scarce in the dry plains. Eventually, Upinzani patrols began stealing cubs. Cubs then went to adolescents. Before they knew it, Kifalme barely had a future for themselves. Every litter eventually ended up dying or going missing. It was tragic for the pride, however, Upinzani thrived in their suffering.
Not too long after the last cub of one of the litters ended up dying, Upinzani began planning an attack on the weakening pride. Limbani, the first and current leader of Upinzani would lead the growing pride into their rivals territory,
. Kifalme was quick to fall beneath the shear power Upinzani had to offer in battle.
